Election campaign: Last trial before the state election

Three days before the state election, the top candidates from the SPD , the Greens and the CDU will meet for another duel. In the discussion round under the motto "Hamburg has the choice", Peter Tschentscher (SPD), Katharina Fegebank (Greens) and Dennis Thering (CDU) will debate on Thursday (7.30 p.m.) on NDR.

Hamburg will elect a new parliament on Sunday. The discussion round on NDR is the fourth and final duel between the three candidates who want to lead Hamburg after the election. The television debate will be broadcast on the "Hamburg Journal" and can also be seen on the "ARD Mediathek". NDR already broadcast a discussion round with the top candidates from the Left, AfD, BSW and FDP on Wednesday.

The questions will be asked by Julia Niharika Sen and Susanne Stichler. The program, which is scheduled to last one and a half hours, will be pre-recorded on the same day. At the same time, Mayor Tschentscher is scheduled to attend an SPD election campaign event with the former Rhineland-Palatinate Prime Minister Malu Dreyer.
