Fire: Fire in underground car park in St. Pauli - 70 firefighters deployed
A fire broke out in an underground parking garage in St. Pauli early this morning. According to the fire department, three cars, two motorcycles, and a scooter were ablaze. The fire was reported at Herrenweide around 5:30 a.m. No one was injured.
The fire department arrived with three fire engines. Around 70 personnel were deployed, including members of the environmental watch and emergency services. The fire has now been extinguished, and the garage is currently being ventilated. Firefighters are also ventilating the stairwell of an adjacent residential building. The cause of the fire is still unclear.
