Lichtenberg: Riot in BVG bus – man threatens passengers and shows Hitler salute

The police were called on Sunday afternoon to an incident on the BVG bus line 194, which occurred at the Friedrichsfelde underground station in the Lichtenberg district. According to the Berlin police, a man insulted the bus driver at around 4 p.m. and hit the driver's cabin with his fist. The bus driver then opened the door at the front and the man left the bus, then insulted other people at the bus stop.
A 48-year-old woman filmed the incident, which prompted the man to enter the bus again. He threatened the woman with a pepper spray and verbally abused her. After the woman put her cell phone away, the man left the bus again. He then gave the Hitler salute and shouted "Sieg Heil" before walking off in the direction of Friedrichsfelde subway station. The investigation is being continued by a specialist department of Directorate 3 (East).
