Oktoberfest under palm trees: “O'zapft is!” in Vienna’s Gleis//Garten

From October 2nd to 5th, 2025, the Gleis//Garten in Vienna's Meidling district will once again be transformed into an autumnal festival grounds. Under the motto "O'zapft is!", Vienna's first food market will celebrate an Oktoberfest with a special flair – and admission is free.
Guests can expect a mix of live music, dancing, and traditional delicacies, complemented by a modern food market atmosphere. A special highlight for beer fans: groups can have their own 30-liter keg, complete with beer tap, delivered directly to their table.
In addition to classic pretzels, roast chicken, and Spritzer, the on-site restaurateurs serve creative specialties. For a more relaxed experience, there are drink packages: a beer flat rate starting at €39 per person or a beer and Spritzer flat rate for €49.
On Saturday, a cross-dressing special provides some colorful variety: Anyone who reinterprets a dirndl or lederhosen will receive a liter of beer and a pretzel on the house.
