Offer expanded: Timeless Investments launches marketplace for tokenized tangible assets

The Berlin-based company Timeless Investments, which focuses on investments in rare collectibles , announces the launch of its own digital marketplace for tokenized tangible assets. According to the company, this platform is the first of its kind.

This will allow external partners to offer curated assets alongside their own offerings, the company says. It continues: "The goal is to create more choice for investors while simultaneously increasing the liquidity of shares. The combination of curated partner offerings, regulatory protection, and global tradability is intended to bring a new level of quality to the area of ​​digital real asset investments."

The marketplace will offer particularly high-quality collectibles from qualified partners. "Investors will thus gain access to a broader spectrum of assets, including, in the future, objects in the six-figure value range. All assets offered on the marketplace will continue to be checked for authenticity, quality, and market value and curated by Timeless," the statement states. The digital processing of ownership shares will be carried out using blockchain technology, ensuring transparent and tamper-proof documentation.

To launch, Timeless, together with its partner company Spiritory, presented a bottle of the Macallan 60 Years Old Red Collection as the first investment on the new marketplace. The limited edition of 60 bottles was fully funded within a short period of time, with additional assets to follow soon.

The application of the new European MICA (Markets in Crypto-Assets) regulation is intended to enable cross-platform trading of tokenized shares. The company's own so-called Timeless Tokens will thus also be tradable outside of the company's own marketplace. Investments in the collectibles are possible starting at EUR 50 per share.

According to Timeless, the objects include watches, art, vehicles, sneakers, wine, trading cards, and memorabilia. The company says it has tokenized around 820 collectibles with a total value of more than €36 million to date. "An average holding period of 19 months and an average return of 29 percent were achieved." Current investors in Timeless Investments include Porsche Ventures, EQT Ventures, Seven Accelerator, C3 Tech VC, and La Roca Capital.
