Congress passes law requiring concertgoers to line up by height

Zotaco Venue.- The Congress of the Union approved a new law requiring concertgoers to accommodate by height.

In a historic and applauded (by short people) initiative, the Chamber of Deputies approved a law that will require attendees at concerts, festivals, and public events to line up by height, just as they did in elementary school during flag-waving ceremonies.

The concerts will be like "flag ceremonies" but with glitter.

“Enough with the necks, shoulders, and giant flags. I pay to see Bad Bunny, not the sweaty back of some guy with a backpack,” said a congresswoman while speaking from a small bench on the floor of the chamber.

According to the ruling, people must be seated in ascending order, from shortest to tallest, and wear a bracelet with their height verified by INEGI (National Institute of Statistics and Geography) or the updated IMSS (Mexican Social Security Institute) record (from the last time their height was seriously measured).

The law also provides penalties for those who try to cut in front by lying about their height, including fines, immediate relocation to the bathroom line, or, in severe cases, to the area for bored dads with folding chairs.

" At Vive Latino, a woman kicked me in the calves because I wouldn't let her see Belanova. What's my fault if I've been 1.90 meters tall since high school!" explained a guy who now has to watch the events from behind.

In addition to equal seating, the new rule prohibits carrying people over 10 years old on shoulders, carrying flags, giant hats, or posters, and requires organizers to have stilts so that short children don't just sit and listen to the presentations.

And in case you missed it: Nodal denied Angela Aguila's claim that he has never cooked for her.
