Cydsa announces organizational changes; Edmundo Rodarte is appointed general director

Cydsa announced that at today's meeting, the Board of Directors approved important changes to its organizational structure, which will be effective as of April 1, 2025, appointing Edmundo Rodarte Valdés as its new General Director.
He explained that Tomás González Sada has assumed the position of Executive President of Cydsa, in addition to continuing to serve as President of the Board of Directors.
He explained that based on the institutional succession plan, designed to ensure the continuity of the company's sustainable growth in the long term, González Sada, after an outstanding career of more than 30 years in the organization, which he led as Executive General Director, will assume the position of Executive President of Cydsa.
He added that this appointment is in addition to his current position as Chairman of the Board of Directors, a position he will continue to hold.
He also commented on the appointment of the new General Director, Edmundo Rodarte Valdés, who has more than 30 years of experience in important companies, of which he has held the position of General Director of Energy at Cydsa for the last 8 years.
He pointed out that his responsibility includes both the administration and operation of Cydsa's Strategic Businesses and the Corporate General Management.
Additionally, Alejandro von Rossum Garza, who currently heads the General Management of the Chemical and Energy Division, after a distinguished career of more than 50 years at Cydsa, will assume the position of Advisor to the General Director and Executive President of Cydsa and will continue to be part of the Board of Directors of Cydsa.
These changes reflect Cydsa's commitment to innovation, operational excellence and the creation of long-term value for its shareholders, employees, customers and suppliers, he said.
Cydsa is confident that this new organizational structure will strengthen its position in the markets in which it participates and will enable it to successfully face future challenges, he concluded.
