DIF Progreso will hold a support day for people with disabilities

PROGRESS.- The Municipal System for Comprehensive Family Development (DIF) of Progreso , in coordination with the State DIF and Public Charity, will carry out a day of attention for requests for functional support for people with disabilities .

The event will take place next Thursday, February 27, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the facilities of the Progreso Municipal Water and Sewer System (Smapap) court.

During the day, requests will be received from people requiring wheelchairs (for people with infantile cerebral palsy, adult cerebral palsy, standard and bathing), walkers, canes, crutches, glasses and hearing aids .

The requirements that will be needed to request support are:

• Copy of valid official identification .
• Updated Unique Population Registry Key (CURP) .
• Proof of address no older than three months.
• Original and copy of medical diagnosis .
• In the case of children under seven years of age who require hearing aids, an audiometry must be presented .

The director of the Municipal DIF , Cristina González Gamboa, highlighted that this initiative seeks to provide support to people with disabilities to improve their mobility and quality of life .
