MEXICO CITY.— On Tuesday, the U.S. currency started the day with gains, being offered in international markets at 20.5007 pesos per dollar wholesale , according to the financial platform Investing .

At the start of today's activity in the foreign exchange market , the dollar registered an advance of 0.15%, which corresponds to 0.0313 units.

The dollar closed on Monday at 20.4703 pesos per dollar, and opened today at 20.4263 pesos per dollar, which represents an annual variation of 19.58%.

This Tuesday, February 25, 2025, the price of the dollar in Mexico opened the retail trading day with a maximum sales price of 21,692 pesos per dollar .

According to information from various banking institutions, at the opening, the US dollar is selling today for up to 21.692 pesos in Bank of America branches, while the maximum purchase value is 19.9873 pesos at the Inbursa bank windows.

For purchase, the lowest price is 19.20 pesos per dollar offered by Banorte bank, and the highest is: 19.9873 pesos per dollar offered by Interecam bank.

For its part, the Bank of Mexico announced the exchange rate for settling obligations denominated in US dollars, payable in the Mexican Republic, which it set at 20.4640 pesos per dollar.

Meanwhile, the 48-hour interbank rate was set at 20.4272.

According to The Economy Forecast Agency, yesterday the dollar exchange rate registered a variation of 0.12% compared to the previous day.

For Wednesday, February 26, 2025, the agency sets a maximum purchase price of 20,229 pesos per dollar, while its sales forecast is up to 20,845 pesos per dollar.
