Evelyn Salgado is committed to prioritizing the gender perspective

Evelyn Salgado Pineda, Governor of Guerrero , reaffirmed her commitment to the women of Guerrero and highlighted the importance of placing the gender perspective at the center of political, social and economic decisions.

During the inauguration of the Third State Congress of Gender Units, Salgado Pineda said that " women are not alone , we are part of a great transformative movement that seeks to eradicate inequalities and ensure that no woman is left behind."

The governor emphasized the importance of building a fair and equal Guerrero in front of representatives of Gender Units, universities, groups and state authorities.

“Gender inequality is not an isolated event, it requires root solutions. In Guerrero we are strengthening the mechanisms for prevention, attention and punishment of gender violence so that no aggression goes unpunished,” the governor stressed.
