Juana Garrido, Viviana Elizabeth 's sister, said that the families had not issued a statement to date out of respect for the investigation and the victims, and stressed that they were not silenced by the authorities; however, she asserted that they are demanding an audience with the new local prosecutor, Bertha Alcalde, due to deficiencies in the investigations.

"We want an answer and for the investigation to be completed because it cannot be possible that it has not been concluded in almost a year; they already have all the evidence," he said.
The relatives said they are seeking a multidisciplinary expert report that can verify the identity of the victims with forensic identification, which will also allow them to have a dignified delivery of their remains, as well as what is necessary to prove the crimes committed, first that of disappearance and later that of femicide.
"We have just been informed that the Femicide Prosecutor's Office has already sent all the evidence found in the property. A month ago, essential evidence for the investigations of our cases was delivered, which is very serious since the Amairany case is already in process," he added.
To this day, families still have doubts regarding the processes and results offered by the capital's justice department, which is why they demand the presentation of results that can reliably inform them of the real situation of the case and clarify all the facts.
They also demand dialogue with Bertha AlcaldeThe group of protesters regretted that they have only two months to complete the investigation, which is why they demand an interview and dialogue with Bertha Alcalde.
They also pointed out that the investigating authorities had access to all the evidence found at Miguel N. 's home, but the families have not been given any information, while they accused the leak of important data to the media.
After the statement to the media, the relatives were received by representatives of the Prosecutor's Office who indicated that tonight they will be informed of the day and time when they will be able to hold the hearing with the current local prosecutor.
