Girl dies after being run over in Saltillo
The accident occurred on Friday afternoon in the Mirasierra neighborhood.
A minor lost her life after being hit by a vehicle on the streets of the Mirasierra neighborhood.
The accident was reported to the 911 emergency system around 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Correcaminos and Perro streets. According to officials from the Traffic and Road Safety Subdirectorate, three-year-old Lesly Karina was treated at the scene. The child was found lying on the road surface with a head injury.

She was struck by a gray vehicle with license plate FFF-453-B, traveling south to north on Correcaminos Street. The car was driven by Francisco Alvarado Palomo, 35, who struck the minor with the front of the vehicle. Red Cross paramedics, aboard ambulance 224, transported the minor to the Maternal and Child Hospital.
A tow truck was requested to remove the vehicle, and San José Cranes Unit 77 arrived on the scene. The driver was arrested and taken to municipal jail , charged with criminal mischief.
However, as the hours passed, the girl could not resist the injuries and died.
