And he gives them with so much detail that, obviously, they are detrimental to him. That he defends the Valencians with the same determination and luck with which he defends himself was already clear on the day of the events. That the Valencians must be defended from him is known even by his own party, which has abandoned him with the usual patina of unprincipled desolation that prevails over those who let down or abandon them to their fate. That, in short, there are better ways to end a political career than prolonging, not to mention on tour, the memory of his management in the dana, he must also know this by now.
