Saltillo: Security forces recover a stolen truck in less than four hours.

Timely reporting by citizens and immediate coordination between various law enforcement agencies led to the rapid recovery of an MG RX8 pickup truck that was stolen on Friday in broad daylight near a busy thoroughfare.
The success of the operation was also reinforced by urban camera footage, reported Julio César Loera, the State Attorney General's delegate for the southeast region, who personally attended to the people who reported the theft around 12:00 noon.

It was four hours later when, thanks to the intervention of the Criminal Investigation Police, State Police, and Municipal Police, through the Specialized Group on Vehicle Theft, the truck was found—with the engine running—in the parking lot of a convenience store in the Brisas neighborhood.
" I personally attended to those affected at the checkpoint, and as soon as we were informed of the case, we immediately informed the commands of the other corporations, following one of the instructions we have received for cases like this from Prosecutor Federico Fernández," Loera explained.
The official said that immediate notification by citizens is key to the successful search for stolen vehicles.
Indeed, a neighbor reported the theft of her vehicle outside her home around noon this Friday morning in the Rancho de Peña neighborhood.
As he left his house, he noticed his truck wasn't in the parking lot where he had left it. The thieves had apparently removed the vehicle from La Caridad Street, a few meters from Pedro Figueroa Boulevard, near the commercial area.

Later, at around 4:00 p.m., the location of the unit was reported, "thanks also to the coordination" between the different security forces with jurisdiction in these cases.
The delegate announced that work will continue to locate those responsible for this theft, "especially," he said, "because the way we found the truck, running and with the keys in it, is very surprising." So far, there are no suspects or leads regarding the criminals.
