Sources from module 13 of Soto del Real, on how Santos Cerdán is experiencing his first days behind bars

Sources from module 13 of Soto del Real, on how Santos Cerdán is experiencing his first days behind bars

Santos Cerdán was imprisoned on Monday, June 30th. Three days have passed since he was admitted as a provisional measure, and details are beginning to emerge about the condition of the former number three of the PSOE (Spanish Socialist Workers' Party). So far, the information is not positive. This Thursday, Jorge Luque, a journalist with the ' Tardear ' team (Telecinco), gave some details on the matter to Frank Blanco , live from Soto del Real.

The politician is ultimately being held in module 13, which the program stated is the one usually assigned to "first-time inmates." Prison officials indicate that this is usually where the quietest people are placed. When an inmate causes problems or is more disruptive, they are usually transferred to another module. Jorge Luque has been able to speak with people who have already been inside the prison in recent days, and they told him that Santos Cerdán appears to be "somewhat downcast, as if trying to go unnoticed."

Among other details, the 'TardeAR' reporter added that "he eats little and doesn't adapt well" and that this very afternoon he could have his first visit with his family . Santos Cerdán has a single cell , as has also been leaked, something that is possible considering that module 13 has 81 inmates and around 72 cells, "so most of them don't have to share it."

Initial indications suggested that the former PSOE number three would be in Module 10. There are all kinds of amenities, including a pool for sports, a supposed basketball court, and a petanque area. They have free time to watch television, read, or engage in whatever leisure activities they like, and they usually have assigned daily activities. They have breakfast around 7:00 a.m. and dinner at 8:00 p.m., when they each return to their cells.

At the moment, his imprisonment is generating a lot of buzz, both because of who he is and because of the people visiting him, including several lawyers who visited Soto del Real on Wednesday, raising all sorts of suspicions. Frank Blanco has stated that they will continue to report on the latest developments regarding the now most talked-about prisoner in Spanish prisons.
