The charges call for between four and six years in prison for García Ortiz and up to 12 years of disqualification for the leak of data about Ayuso's boyfriend.

The charges call for between four and six years in prison for García Ortiz and up to 12 years of disqualification for the leak of data about Ayuso's boyfriend.

The Professional and Independent Association of Prosecutors (APIF) has requested a sentence of six years in prison and 12 years of disqualification from prosecution for the crime of malfeasance in conjunction with the continued disclosure of secrets against the Attorney General of the State, Álvaro García Ortiz, for the leak of confidential data about Isabel Díaz Ayuso's boyfriend. This accusation also calls for the head of the Madrid Provincial Prosecutor's Office, Pilar Rodríguez, to be convicted as a necessary accomplice in the same crimes. For Rodríguez, the APIF is seeking a four-year prison sentence and another 12 years of disqualification from prosecution.

For their part, Ayuso's partner filed their indictment this Thursday, requesting that García Ortiz be sentenced to four years in prison, an 18-month fine with a daily rate of 200 euros, and three-year suspension from employment, as well as the additional penalty of special disqualification from the position of Attorney General.

For Pilar Rodríguez, González Amador's defense team is seeking sentences of three years in prison, a 12-month fine with a daily rate of 100 euros, and a two-year suspension from employment, as well as the additional penalty of special disqualification from the position of provincial prosecutor of Madrid.

In his indictment, González Amador describes the damage to his privacy, data protection, presumption of innocence, right to defense, and honor as "continuous" and "incessant." He claims that he has suffered "irreparable damage" as a "fruit" and "result" of the "criminal activity carried out by the highest authority of the State Prosecutor's Office, with the essential collaboration of the highest provincial authority of the Madrid Prosecutor's Office."

Among the requests for witnesses, Ayuso's partner asks that the former secretary of the PSM, Juan Lobato, or the former senior official of Moncloa, Pilar Sánchez Acera, be summoned.

The APIF asks that Cerdán declare

The APIF is urging Supreme Court investigator Ángel Hurtado to bring both prosecutors to trial immediately. Furthermore, this group is requesting that former PSOE Organization Secretary Santos Cerdán , among others, testify in the trial.

This accusation maintains that the leak allegedly carried out by García Ortiz with the essential help of Rodríguez "significantly affected the reputation of Alberto González Amador, since, following the disclosure of said information, he was called a fraudster or confessed criminal in certain media and circles, even though no conviction had yet been issued establishing this."

Furthermore, he adds that "for entirely unlawful reasons, he was deprived of his right to a trial with full guarantees. The agreement, which he legitimately sought to process confidentially, was unjustifiably made public, with the resulting impairment of his right to defense."

Finally, the APIF emphasizes that the actions of García Ortiz and Rodríguez "have significantly called into question the prestige of the Public Prosecutor's Office as an institution. According to its Statute, the Prosecutor's Office's mission is to promote the action of justice in defense of legality, the rights of citizens, and the public interest protected by law. Furthermore, its actions must adhere to the principles of legality and impartiality. Disregarding the above, Álvaro García Ortiz and María Pilar Rodríguez Fernández took advantage of their status as prosecutors with the highest authority to pursue purely private and political objectives. Specifically, they used the mechanisms at their disposal to irregularly obtain and illicitly reveal confidential data from an anonymous individual with the sole goal of winning a story. It is evident that such actions have absolutely degraded the public perception of the Prosecutor's Office as a constitutional body."
