The Valencia Court confirms the indictment of former councilor Pradas for the crime and rejects the indictment of the government delegate.

The Valencia Court supports the decisions of the Catarroja judge investigating the flood that left 228 dead in Valencia on October 29. According to sources from the High Court of Justice of the Valencian Community , it confirms the criterion of maintaining the former Minister of Justice and Interior of the Government of Carlos Mazón , Salomé Pradas , as a defendant, while acquitting the Government delegate, Pilar Bernabé , and the head of the Júcar Hydrographic Confederation (CHJ), Miguel Polo .

The Court has upheld three rulings in which Judge Nuria Ruiz Tobarra ordered the investigation into the former regional minister as the main perpetrator on the day of the incident, assigning her sole command of the emergency. Also named as a second suspect in the case is former regional Secretary of Emergencies Emilio Argüeso , who also appealed his indictment. The Court has not yet issued a ruling on this appeal.

But the Court also refuses to investigate the government representative to whom the Generalitat and the two defendants attribute joint command of the emergency. It also refuses to admit a complaint against the president of the Júcar Hydrographic Confederation, Miguel Polo, and other officials of the state agency dependent on the Ministry for Ecological Transition .

In one of her latest rulings, the judge has again requested new information from the CHJ regarding the alerts and monitoring of the fateful Poyo ravine on the day of the flood. According to the Generalitat and the defendants, the CHJ omitted information on October 29 regarding the uncontrolled increase in the Poyo's flow after 5:00 p.m.
