Tomorrowland is burning! These are the videos of the main stage fire.

The iconic main stage of Tomorrowland , one of the largest electronic music festivals on the planet, was partially consumed by flames in Boom, Belgium. The incident occurred just days before the event was scheduled to begin this Friday, July 18.

Videos released by witnesses and local media show a column of black smoke rising above the stage structures as emergency crews attempted to control the blaze. The flames were visible from several points in the venue, causing alarm among staff.

Fire during Tomorrowland set-up

According to media outlets such as BBC News and Le Soir , the fire started during construction work on the main stage, which this year promised to feature one of the festival's most ambitious productions.

Videos shared on social media show collapsed structures, electrical sparks , and a large firefighter deployment. Some clips even captured minor explosions as the fire raged.

Is Tomorrowland cancelled?

So far, no injuries have been reported , as the venue was not yet open to the public. The material damage is still being assessed by the organizers and local authorities.

Although there has been no detailed official statement from the festival, local media reports that the technical team is already working against the clock to repair the damaged equipment and ensure the event, scheduled to begin on Friday, July 18 , can take place.

Meanwhile, uncertainty is growing on social media about whether there will be changes to the stage design or whether some of the signature setup that has made Tomorrowland an unprecedented viewing experience will be scaled back.
