As expected, Pamela Díaz had to leave the set and was immediately taken to a clinic near Channel 13 to receive specialized medical attention.
Hours after the incident, the Chilean woman shared a video on Instagram detailing her health condition after suffering mild facial paralysis.
“Everyone knows what happened to me, I have a slight facial paralysis, but it will pass. Yesterday I was up late at the doctor’s. Now I came to spend a few days with my family. Thank you all for your messages,” said the TV presenter.
Finally, the Chilean host explained that doctors attributed the paralysis to high levels of stress, but fortunately her recovery was quick and without any after-effects, as she resumed her work commitments a few days later.

It is a condition that affects the movement of the facial muscles, causing partial or total loss of mobility in the affected area. Its causes may include viral infections, inflammation of the facial nerve or high levels of stress.
In most cases, symptoms are temporary and with proper treatment, full recovery is achieved within a few weeks. However, the length of the rehabilitation process depends on the cause and severity of the condition.
The most common form of facial palsy is Bell ’s palsy, which is usually temporary and its exact cause remains unknown. Associated symptoms may include difficulty closing an eye, smiling, or making other facial expressions.
