Sheinbaum announces investment to strengthen the pharmaceutical industry

- KENER - 5,180 million pesos
- GENBIO - 4 billion pesos
- ALPHARMA BioGenTec - 800 million pesos
- NEOLSYM - 500 million pesos
These investments have the objective of strengthen the pharmaceutical industry in the country "For us, it is essential that more production takes place in Mexico, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry, also for reasons of sovereignty," the President declared.

The general director of Neolpharma Group , Luz Astrea Ocampo Gutiérrez de Velasco , he specified that, on the part of ALPHARMA BioGenTec An initial investment of 800 million pesos will be made for the construction of infrastructure and the development of biopharmaceuticals, biotechnological medicines, and vaccines , as well as for coordination with universities for technological development . This will create 110 direct jobs and 310 indirect jobs. He specified that a projected investment of 6 billion pesos is planned for eight projects .
The vice president of innovation Neolpharma Group , Diego Antonio Ocampo Gutiérrez de Velasco , announced that on behalf of NEOLSYM An investment of 500 million pesos will be made for the manufacture of raw materials and supplies used in medicines, creating 120 direct jobs and 500 indirect jobs.
