With a brief message on her Instagram story, the wife of the presidential candidate confirmed that he "continues to fight" after learning that he had undergone another operation.

It is worth noting that the Santa Fe Foundation , the medical institution where Miguel Uribe is hospitalized , has not commented or revealed recent medical reports about this intervention.

In this regard, the clinic has assured, since June 18, that new reports on the patient's health status will only be issued when relevant clinical changes occur and with the authorization of the patient's family.

In the absence of medical confirmation, the message was received by hundreds of people on social media as “hopeful” and “positive.”

Hours before the senator's latest surgery was announced, the specialist in charge of his case, neurosurgeon Fernando Hakim, shared a photograph showing his medical uniform and holding a flag in his hands with the country's representative colors: yellow, blue, and red.

The post was also accompanied by a brief message in which the professional stated: "The encouraging voices of all Colombians have been a fundamental support for the entire team at the Santa Fe de Bogotá Foundation."

Her words of gratitude went to those closely following Miguel Uribe Turbay's case and hoping for his speedy recovery.

The case into the attack on Senator and presidential candidate Miguel Uribe Turbay is moving forward with four people arrested , including the alleged underage hitman and three adults accused of planning and carrying out the attack.

One of the main suspects is William Fernando González Cruz, alias Hermano, whom the Prosecutor's Office accuses of selecting and locating the minor who shot the congressman. According to the investigation, González also allegedly parked near El Golfito Park in Bogotá, where the attack occurred, to facilitate the escape of other suspects.

For her part, Katerine Andrea Martínez Martínez, known as Gabriela , was allegedly in charge of handing the firearm to the young attacker and ensuring the plan was carried out, according to authorities.

Another suspect is Carlos Eduardo Mora González, whom the Prosecutor's Office accuses of having conducted the preliminary reconnaissance of the scene and participating in the final planning of the attack. He is also accused of being present in the vehicle where the 15-year-old boy received the weapon used against Uribe Turbay.

Authorities continue their investigation to fully clarify what happened and determine if there are more people involved in this attempted murder, which has generated widespread political and social condemnation.
