Mira, New Liberalism, and Dignity and Commitment Parties present their coalition ahead of the congressional elections.
The Mira, Nuevo Liberalismo, and Dignidad y Compromiso parties announced the "Ahora Colombia" coalition ahead of the 2026 congressional elections. The parties' plan is to present unified lists for the Senate and the House of Representatives.
Sergio Fajardo, Senator Ana Paola Agudelo, Jorge Enrique Robledo, Juan Manuel Galán, and others were present at the event where they made the announcement. "This coalition proposes a common agenda focused on institutional transformation from the territories and the strengthening of representative democracy, based on the principles of honesty, transparency, and dialogue," the groups stated.

However, they explained that this alliance does not imply a merger of parties, but rather that each group will maintain its ideological and legal independence, as well as its own ethical process for funding and selecting candidates, and its stance on the upcoming presidential election.
“This coalition must be Colombia's hope. We think differently on some points, of that you can be sure. There is no obligation regarding presidential candidacies; we are uniting today to present lists to the Congress of the Republic,” stated Sergio Fajardo, pre-candidate and spokesperson for the Dignity and Commitment party.
For his part , Jorge Enrique Robledo stated: “Three political forces that, despite their differences, are united by a common purpose: to transform Colombia with honesty , dialogue, and transparency. This is just the beginning of a path to electing a large group to Congress in 2026.”

During the presentation, they emphasized that the coalition seeks to achieve significant representation in Congress through a programmatic proposal structured around ten key lines:
- Fight against corruption.
- Democracy and independence of public powers.
- Citizen security.
- Fundamental rights.
- Social rights.
- Effective political participation of women.
- Child protection.
- Environment.
- Income generation and civic culture.

The leaders of the three parties emphasized that this coalition is not a response to temporary agreements, but rather a "common working platform, aimed at offering a coherent political proposal to address the challenges the country faces in 2026."
They added: "This coalition is not just a collection of names, but a collective effort that aims to put the country above its differences. This is the beginning of a path that will build proposals and engage more sectors."
