Confirmed: Starting in July, Starlink will provide free internet to these 50 cell phone models. Is yours available?
In July 2025, Elon Musk's Starlink will offer free internet access to select cell phones . This service will initially be available in a number of countries and will focus on improving access to communications in rural areas or where signal is difficult to reach.
In the partnership between T-Mobile and Starlink, the companies announced that 50 cell phone models will be eligible for this free satellite internet access system.
Devices from brands like Apple, Samsung, Motorola, and Google will be the first to take advantage of this technology , without the need for any modifications or additional paid services, since it will be included with your current plan.
Starlink operates through a constellation of low-orbit satellites located at an altitude of approximately 550 kilometers. This system reduces latency and improves connection speeds, unlike other traditional satellite internet systems.
As explained by SpaceX, the first phase of this service will include basic functions such as sending messages, real-time location and the ability to contact emergency services .

Something that people should keep in mind is that this will only be available when the cell phone does not have coverage from traditional networks and then this new function will be activated, which will appear on the screen 'T-Mobile SpaceX' .
They also indicated that, once the initial phase is complete, users will be able to make voice calls and have full internet access, but this will depend on the technological development of each cell phone and the regulatory agreements in each country.
The brands that will be able to enjoy free internet are: 27 Samsung models, 12 Apple models, 5 Motorola models, 4 Google models, and 2 T-Mobile models.
