Telefónica will raise the rent for its conduits and poles by 11% compared to its rivals.

Current prices have been updated to reflect the current costs of maintaining and operating these infrastructures. Thus, recurring prices , which operators pay each month for the use of the infrastructure, have increased by an average of 11% . Non-recurring prices , which operators pay for specific actions (such as a technical visit or a feasibility analysis), have increased by 14.6% , in line with the evolution of labor costs. The regulation known as MARco has allowed alternative operators to deploy fiber optic networks through Telefónica's passive infrastructure (conduits, manholes, chambers, and poles) since 2009. Currently, some 370 operators use this service to access more than 120,000 km of sub-conduits or more than 2 million manholes.
