Blois (41): A pensioner killed with a flask by an 18-year-old patient for an open window

According to Midi Libre , a septuagenarian was killed on July 17, 2025, at the Chesnaie clinic in Loir-et-Cher, after a violent argument with his 18-year-old roommate. The conflict reportedly erupted because the pensioner wanted to open the window, which the young man refused. Enraged, the latter hit him with a metal flask. The victim died before staff arrived. The suspect, who suffered from psychiatric disorders, was hospitalized under duress. The clinic had already experienced a similar homicide in 2016, when a sixty-year-old man was strangled by another patient.
