War in Ukraine: Russian night strikes leave at least 20 dead and more than 40 injured

In Russia, one person was killed in the night from Monday to Tuesday in the Rostov region by a Ukrainian drone attack.
The attacks continue. At least 20 people were killed and 43 injured in Russian strikes on the Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions of Ukraine overnight Monday to Tuesday, according to authorities.
In the Zaporizhzhia region, a series of bombings against a penal colony left 16 dead and 35 injured, the head of the Ukrainian presidential administration, Andrii Yermak, wrote on Telegram, denouncing "another war crime by the Russians."
Three other attacks in the Dnipropetrovsk region left at least four dead and eight injured, regional administration head Sergiy Lysak announced, also via Telegram. These attacks, using explosive drones and guided bombs, targeted the communities of Mezhyivska, Dubovykivska, and Slovianska, he said.

In Salsk, "a car was damaged on Ostrovsky Street. Unfortunately, the driver inside died," he wrote. Drone debris also fell on Salsk station, damaging a passenger train and a freight train, but no one was injured, Russian Railways said.
