Beaune. The Ramparts of Beaune: Discover 2,000 Years of History
On Sunday morning, August 10, in the shadow of the Rempart des Dames, tourists and locals alike explored the history of Beaune. Guided by the Friends of the Remparts association, they explored towers, bastions, and ancient gates, discovering two millennia of fortifications.
At the foot of the Rempart des Dames, in the République car park, around forty people are waiting for the tour to begin. Starting at 9 a.m. on Sunday, August 10, tourists and locals interested in Beaune's history took part in a guided tour of the ramparts, organized by the association Les Amis des Remparts.
