French manufacturer Aura Aero bets on electric aircraft

The world's first certified electric aircraft is French. The aircraft, built by Aura Aero, reduces the cost per flight hour and reduces its carbon footprint.

One hour of flight time is the maximum autonomy of this aircraft, intended for training airline or army pilots, from the end of 2026. According to its designer, electric has only advantages. "We reduce the cost of the flight hour and obviously the carbon footprint," says Jérémy Caussade, CEO and founder of Aura Aero. The secret of this aircraft is its engine , a concentrate of technologies that underwent more than 1,500 hours of testing before being certified.
