In Barbaste, tailor-made care for horses with Responsible Rider

He manufactures and sells custom-made equipment, adapted to the morphology of each horse, regardless of the discipline. "The idea is to bring your horse," he explains. Indeed, advice and follow-up are personalized thanks to saddle fitting. The sessions aim to assess the position of the saddle, check pressure points and the constraints exerted on the horse's back using measurements, in order to free up the animal's movement and provide greater comfort.
The solutions offered are numerous: felt shock absorbers, leather bits, and neck protectors. He also offers ergonomic girths made from wool purchased from breeders, then transformed into felt in the workshop, without dyeing or chemical treatment, in an eco-responsible approach. In his shop, he will also sell bulk products.
Collaborations outside AlbretOriginally from Xaintrailles, Julien Dubourdieu is an agricultural engineer by training and a passionate horseman. His project began with his mare Qahira, on which he sought to correct the saddle's pressure points. Since then, he has been constantly looking for areas for improvement. "Numerous tests are carried out, but I only keep what works," he adds.
