On the international stage, the French president is raising his voice. Long cautious about adding fuel to the fire in an unstable world, he is no longer mincing his words.

The standoff with Algeria? "France must be strong and command respect," wrote the President of the Republic.
On all international issues, Emmanuel Macron is toughening his stance. As in La Fontaine's fable, has the lamb become a wolf, now considering that "might is right"?
