Louis Sarkozy, son of the former President of the Republic and columnist for Valeurs actuelles , has taken another step towards running in the next municipal elections in Menton (Alpes-Maritimes), with the creation of a campaign financing association.
“I would vote for the RN”This "association for financing the electoral campaign of the list led by Louis Sarkozy for the municipal elections of March 2026 in Menton" was declared on August 11 at the prefecture of the department, according to an announcement published Tuesday in the "Official Journal of Associations".

The 28-year-old columnist, who bought a pied-à-terre in the town of 30,000 inhabitants at the beginning of the summer, where the current right-wing majority is under serious threat from the National Rally, has still not officially announced his candidacy.
