Ain. The Constitutional Council has singled out two other candidates for the 2024 legislative elections.

With a new election possibly on the horizon, the third round of the 2024 legislative elections has seen several candidates singled out by the Constitutional Council for "serious breaches" of the electoral code. In addition to Guy Billoudet and Khadija Unal, who have been declared ineligible for one year, two other candidates running in the 2024 early legislative elections have been sanctioned. Running in the 2nd constituency, Olivier Eyraud , a dissident from the RN after the investiture of Andrea Kotarac, has been declared ineligible for having submitted his campaign accounts on October 9, 2024, while the deadline for filing expired on September 6. Although he argued that with 2.59% of the vote, he was below the reimbursement threshold (set at 5%), the former general councilor of Reyrieux has been sentenced to one year of ineligibility starting July 11.
A member of the UMP (Union for a Popular Movement) when he sat in the departmental assembly, the Talançon representative made headlines in 2012 by being the first right-wing representative to wear a "Navy Blue" jersey for the legislative elections. He then wore the patriotic colors of Debout la France, Reconquête! and the National Rally.
Another candidate, Fulgence Kouassi, has been singled out by the Constitutional Council. The independent candidate in the 3rd constituency failed to meet his campaign account obligations and paid the €773 in expenses himself. He has been declared ineligible for three years, starting June 20.
