"The employees are the company's true capital; our success is due to each and every one of them, each for their role," explain his daughters, the company's general managers. "They have the greatest respect. So much so that one of them, who arrived in Italy from the poor south, named his son Nardi to thank him for offering him a job. That's who our father is," they continue.
Last year he took everyone to VeniceLast year, also for his birthday, Giampietro Nardi rented a boat for his 180 employees so they could attend the Feast of the Redeemer, a highlight of the summer in Venice.
And three years ago, when inflation was soaring, he raised all salaries by 5%, even though the company had doubled its turnover after Covid. "The company is doing well and the credit goes to everyone's commitment," he said.
