By Le Parisien with AFPJordan Bardella , Marine Le Pen and Gabriel Attal are in the top three political figures with whom the French would prefer to go on holiday, with François Bayrou in last place, according to a poll published this Monday.
Around 28% of those polled prefer to go with the president of the National Rally, Jordan Bardella, who comes out on top in this poll, 22% with the leader of the far-right party, Marine Le Pen, and 20% with the former Prime Minister, Gabriel Attal , according to the Verian political barometer for the magazine L'Hémicycle.
Next in line are the president of the Horizons party, Edouard Philippe, and MEP Marion Maréchal (19%), former head of state François Hollande (17%) and MEP Raphaël Glucksmann (16%) in this survey which, according to Verian's general director, Laure Salvaing, deals essentially with "a very personal question about proximity, sympathy and image rather than the political project, which is the basis of voting intentions."
The head of state, Emmanuel Macron , received 13% of the vote, while the Prime Minister, François Bayrou , came last in the ranking of 21 personalities with only 3%.
Communist Party National Secretary Fabien Roussel received 13%, while Ecologist leader Marine Tondelier received 11%. Despite his polling momentum, illustrated by his large election as leader of the LR, Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau garnered only 10% of respondents. La France Insoumise leader Jean-Luc Mélenchon and National Assembly President Yaël Braun-Pivet were credited with 8%, and Senate President Gérard Larcher received 4%.
The survey was conducted online between May 16 and 19 among a sample of 1,000 people representative of the French population aged 18 and over.
