Emmanuel Macron has a meeting with the French people: the head of state is being interviewed during a major political program this Tuesday evening on TF1 , starting at 8:10 p.m., during which he could play the referendum card , a first in 20 years.

He will be interviewed for two and a half hours by journalist Gilles Bouleau and representatives of civil society, including CGT union leader Sophie Binet and Béziers mayor Robert Ménard , who will be on set. Other personalities will also appear in video format, including YouTuber Tibo InShape and journalist Charles Biétry, who suffers from Lou Gehrig's disease and is an activist for assisted dying.

After his time in the wilderness following the dissolution of the National Assembly, the president intends to show that he has regained control, while his Prime Minister François Bayrou appears increasingly eclipsed, bogged down in the Bétharram affair .
