This Wednesday, August 6, 12,000 hectares burned in a few hours in the Aude department, after a fire broke out in the town of Ribaute, between Narbonne and Carcassonne. A woman died at her home, one person is missing, and nine are injured, one of whom is in serious condition. 1,500 firefighters battled the flames all night . Due to its scale and speed of spread, this fire is expected to be the most violent of the summer in France.

He's not really keen on taking a holiday: François Bayrou published the first episode of his podcast "FB Direct" this Tuesday, as well as a video version on YouTube, in which he explains why he believes France needs a savings plan for the 2026 budget. The Prime Minister has planned one episode per day during the summer and plans to include discussions with Internet users.

It's now scientific: we know at what age we become old. Researchers at the Beijing Academy of Sciences studied the proteins in the human body to arrive at this conclusion: aging begins between the ages of 45 and 55.
