Sarrebourg. One year after the Grossmann fire: 266 customers affected, affiliated companies liquidated, and an investigation still ongoing.

Everything changed on the night of July 3-4, 2024, when a fire broke out in the warehouse of the Grossmann Furniture company , in the Cap Ouest area of Sarrebourg. A year after the fire, the investigation is still ongoing, and no court date has been set. In the meantime, customers have not been able to be reimbursed, the four companies that stored their goods at the scene of the fire have been liquidated, and negotiations with the insurance company have stalled.
