The National Rally (RN) is launching Pierre-Laurent Chable to attack the Cuers town hall for the 2026 municipal elections.

"An important moment in a symbolic city." This Friday morning, Franck Giletti, president of the RN departmental federation and deputy for the 6th constituency, had arranged for a handful of activists to meet in the Guinguettes parking lot for Pierre-Laurent Chable's candidacy declaration, the first of its kind officially piloted in the Var by the party.
In 2020, already a candidate, the Cuersois came third in the first round (16.9%) and third in the second (23.5%) after a list merger.
Scores that the 40-year-old movement leader and parliamentary advisor to Franck Giletti wants to forget in favor of those recorded by the RN during the last legislative elections.
He had exceeded the absolute majority in the commune and therefore believes that it is "winnable" .
Priority parking" Pierre-Laurent is motivated, hardworking and loyal to the movement. He grew up with it," the MP emphasizes. Before becoming his parliamentary attaché, the candidate had in fact held the position of secretary general of the RN group in the Region and RN municipal councilor in Le Pradet.
To support his candidacy – and present the ideas of his future list, already called "Let's Change Cuers Together" – the RN executive is not content to simply unroll his CV: " This list does not come out of nowhere, it comes from the long work of opposition carried out since 2020. We were whistleblowers and we made sure to bring forward the issues that interest the people of Cuers," he assures.
At the forefront of these issues is the question of the city center. "This is one of the reasons why we chose the Guinguettes parking lot for this nomination," says Pierre-Laurent Chable.
This site serves to illustrate the problem of a city center that, according to him, lacks attractiveness, particularly due to the lack of parking. He assures that he wants to create 250 additional spaces during his term.
"The Disneyland of pro-migrant associations"Second idea illustrated by the site: the candidate's vision of the center's attendance. " Cuers has become the Disneyland of pro-migrant associations, with En Chemin, first and foremost, which has its departmental asylum center in Cuers, which has earned us the installation of a new home for unaccompanied minors. (...) Today, Cuers is a migrant hotel at the entrance to the town, in the industrial zone, two identified homes, different housing all over the place, and that's prohibitive for people. It cancels out the town's attractiveness. The second objective is therefore that by the end of the mandate, this association will be gone."
The housing issueFinally, the question of housing is raised by the candidate who criticises the team in place for a " construction at all costs logic" .
To fuel the project and drive the campaign between now and next March, the RN list plans to distribute a "major survey" through mailboxes. "We need to change governance and give people their say again."
