A new WhatsApp notification arrives on your phone: why it changes everything

WhatsApp's more than two billion active users will soon receive a new update on their smartphones. Meta's messaging service has been steadily improving over the years, and it doesn't seem to be stopping there, as evidenced by the new feature that will be incorporated into the app.
Currently reserved for a handful of testers, WhatsApp's big new feature is set to be implemented in the app within the next few weeks, according to this article from WABetaInfo . The Android 2.25.21.14 update promises to transform your chats with friends, and here's why.

Who hasn't forgotten to reply to a message? This problem, common to the vast majority of smartphone owners, could soon be a thing of the past on WhatsApp. Meta's app plans to integrate a new notification to remind its users to respond to unanswered messages.
This new feature couldn't be more practical when you're interacting too much on WhatsApp and you're losing track of conversations. Meta's messaging service should put an end to forgotten conversations and neglected messages in the coming months.
But reminder notifications on WhatsApp don't stop there. Users will be able to set their own alarms in the near future. Simply select the message of your choice, which you can't reply to instantly, to remind you to respond to it later.
Using this new feature is quite simple: you'll need to long-press on a message in question, select the "Remind me" option, and choose a notification timeframe. Activating it is strictly confidential: neither the recipient nor any member of a WhatsApp group will be notified of the feature's implementation.
This WhatsApp update, which will undoubtedly delight many users, is currently only available to Android users. iPhones aren't expected to receive the new features for some time.
