M60 and M62 traffic LIVE: Huge delays on motorway with two lanes closed
Huge queues formed on the M60 and M62 this morning amid rush hour traffic. Two lanes of traffic were closed this morning on the M60 clockwise at junction 13 for Worsley, and motorists faced delays in both directions. On the M62 eastbound, between junctions 11 for Birchwood and 12 for the Eccles Interchange, queues were also forming.
Inrix reports that the lane closure is due to a broken-down vehicle. Traffic cameras appear to show a spillage on the road, and a clear-up operation is taking place.

On the M62, queues are now tailing back past junction 11.
There are also delays of around 25 minutes at the M61 Swinton Interchange for drivers approaching the M60, with congestion also affecting the M60 anticlockwise.
Drivers are facing long queues due to a spillage on the M60 clockwise, according to Inrix.
There is also reportedly a broken down vehicle in the area.
