Agent who was with Kennedy when he was assassinated has died

Clint Hill, the Secret Service agent who was riding in John F. Kennedy's limousine when he was assassinated, has died at the age of 93. CBS News reports. Although few know his name, the image of the agent throwing himself into the back of the car in a vain attempt to protect the president who had already been shot in Dallas on November 22, 1963, is indelible.
Hill never recovered from the assassination attempt and continued to blame himself for decades, eventually being forced to retire from the Secret Service. "If I had reacted a little quicker, maybe I could have... I'll live with... I don't know... I guess. I'll live with that until I die," Hill said tearfully in a CBS interview in 1975.
