An 80-year-old man gets lost while hunting for mushrooms and is rescued by a helicopter.

An 80-year-old pensioner who had gone mushroom hunting with a friend and got lost in the Castel Valdaier area, between Ligosullo and Paularo, was rescued by Alpine Rescue, who used a winch to hoist him aboard a helicopter.

The man had an old-fashioned phone, which lacked location-tracking technology, so he himself guided the rescuers by giving directions into his phone as the helicopter passed overhead.
