Beaten Noceto and the French of Monteux, the Polo Romagna Under 18 celebrates in Rimini

Polo Romagna Under 18 ended its season with a bang with a victory in the rugby triangular with Noceto and Monteux that took place in Rimini as part of the Piadina Tournament organized by the Riviera club. A double victory for the Romagna team, who narrowly beat the French by 20-19 and came from behind to beat Noceto by 31-7, two excellent results for a group that was essentially at its first team event.

For the Under 18 boys, as well as for the other categories that make up the Polo Romagna program, there is one last appointment on the calendar before the summer break on the occasion of the 19th anniversary celebrations of Romagna Rfc , at the Cesena Rugby Stadium, where a series of activities were held on the pitch for the various youth categories, from Under 14 to Under 23, open to all players from the franchise 's clubs.

Having reached the final stages of the season, it is therefore time to take stock of the path taken this year with Polo Romagna: this was discussed in the meeting that brought together the technicians of the various clubs of Romagna in an evening of discussion on the activity carried out, the results achieved and the continuation of the path in the next year. Various ideas emerged, in the full spirit of the franchise of an ongoing relationship as a prerequisite for the growth of the entire project.

A project, that of the Polo, which this season has progressively enriched, in numbers - both of the boys and of the technicians - but also in the activities proposed: in addition to the collegial training sessions, there have been competitive moments for the various categories, internal test matches, but also meetings with other realities. This is in fact the spirit of Romagna, which for years has been investing continuously and with encouraging results in the growth not of a team, but of the entire territory, with a view to broadening the bases of the movement and increasing the quality of the paths offered to the athletes, who see as a very concrete goal that of being able to reach the group of the first team, engaged in the Serie A championship.

A goal that becomes more and more tangible as the categories grow thanks to the training courses of the technical staff, but also to the participation of the athletes in the senior training sessions. The path to give sustainability, foresight and solid foundations to the project is traced: the goal speaks of a slice of the region capable of speaking a single language in the world of oval ball. And of applying fully among the excellences of the country.
