Cosenza has fired coach Alvini. Belmonte replaces him

The Tuscan coach has been relieved of his duties; Massimiliano Alvini, who has led Cosenza since the beginning of the season, is last in the standings. Cosenza has been entrusted to the youth coach, Nicola Belmonte

Massimiliano Alvini has been fired, and is no longer the coach of Cosenza : in his place, the youth coach Nicola Belmonte has been promoted. The Tuscan coach has paid for the negative ranking of his team, which is sadly in last place in Serie B: the home defeat against Palermo on Sunday, by 3-0, was decisive.

Alvini , a coach with proven experience, is on his third consecutive dismissal: before today's in Calabria , he was dismissed by Spezia last November, and by Cremonese , in January 2023. The one on the Cremonese bench was his first experience of the Tuscan coach in the top division. On that occasion, he had been dismissed in place of Davide Ballardini .
