Cuveglio also prays and makes noise in the streets to "break the silence" on what is happening in Gaza, Palestine: on Sunday 27 July an evening in the square, at 10 pm, simultaneously with many other squares and churches.

The initiative is part of the mobilization "The Last Day of Gaza. Europe Against Genocide," promoted by Paola Caridi, Claudia Durastanti, Micaela Frulli, Tomaso Montanari, Francesco Pallante, and Evelina Santangelo.

In some cases, churches will ring their bells, in others, citizens will organize a moment of noise in the coming night, to remember what is happening on the other side of the Mediterranean.

In Cuveglio, residents will gather at 10 p.m. in front of the parish church of San Lorenzo for a moment of prayer. This will be followed by a moment of sharing and reflection with the organizers and the municipal administration in Piazza Mercato , adjacent to the oratory.
