Both heavy favourites had to make a pit stop.

Mexico also appears in front

At 135 km, the silhouette of Isaac Del Toro appears, one of the great unknowns of the World Championships: the young Mexican, 2nd in the Giro d'Italia, has won races repeatedly in the last month.

The Blues

Italy will instead rely on captain Giulio Ciccone, who will be supported by Andrea Bagioli, Mattia Cattaneo, Lorenzo Fortunato, Marco Frigo, Fausto Masnada, Matteo Sobrero and Gianmarco Garofoli.
