From cars to appliances, here are the bonuses coming in September.

From cars to appliances, here are the bonuses coming in September.

Starting in September 2025, new bonuses and incentives will be made available to families, particularly those with a low ISEE (Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator), such as discounts on electric cars. This incentive represents an important step toward improving the environmental efficiency of the Italian vehicle fleet, one of the oldest in Europe, with an average vehicle age of 13 years in 2024. Specifically, for private individuals purchasing electric vehicles in the M1 category (passenger cars), access to the bonus will be regulated based on the ISEE value: families with an income of up to €30,000 will be eligible for an incentive of €11,000, while those in the €30,000 to €40,000 bracket will be entitled to a €9,000 grant. For microbusinesses interested in electric commercial vehicles (categories N1 and N2, up to 12 tons), the grant will be equal to 30% of the vehicle's value, up to a maximum of €20,000 per vehicle. Grants can be requested until June 30, 2026. During the same period, a new household appliance bonus will be available, aimed at families with an ISEE (Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator) below a certain threshold. This incentive is for purchasing refrigerators, washing machines, and other energy-efficient appliances. The bonus provides a 30% discount on the cost of the chosen appliance, up to a maximum of €100 (€200 if the ISEE is no higher than €25,000). It has specific eligibility requirements and a simplified online application process. It will not be a tax-deductible bonus, but a direct grant. Management will be through the PagoPa digital platform. But the incentives don't stop there. Below are the bonuses we already know about, which will be renewed.

INPS itself issued an official message announcing the reopening of applications for the Psychology Bonus. New applications can be submitted from September 15th until November 14th, 2025. The ranking for the bonus will be drawn up on a provincial and regional basis, based on the order of submission and ISEE (Indicative Economic Situation Indicator), with priority given to the lowest incomes. The bonus will remain valid for 260 days from the date of acceptance. The requirements for accessing the bonus: there are no age limits and the maximum ISEE must be €50,000.

Recently updated, Parliament approved a simplification measure for Italian families: annual renewal of the application will no longer be required; instead, a single application will be required, and will last until the child is three years old. Please note, however, that it will still be mandatory to certify the child's attendance at daycare and the fulfillment of the required requirements each year.

The Sports Bonus is dedicated to sports participation for children of low-income families, aged 6 to 14, with a maximum of two contributions per household. Up to €300 per child.

A bonus designed for low-income families to purchase essential goods. The bonus will be automatically distributed through municipalities that will draw up a ranking based on the following requirements: ISEE up to €15,000, minor children, and registration with the registry office in the municipality of residence.
