Kiev: Rare Earths Agreement Ready, Tied to Security Guarantees

Ukraine and the US have worked out the final version of the agreement on rare earths and "from today this agreement is called 'Agreement on the definition of the rules and conditions of the Investment Fund for the reconstruction of Ukraine'", Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal confirmed this on Ukrainian TV, reported by RBC.

The agreement "envisages the creation of an investment fund for the reconstruction of Ukraine, which Ukraine and the US will jointly manage and replenish," Shmyhal said. The agreement is directly linked to Ukraine's security guarantees, he added.
