I am deeply attached to Forza Italia, a party that continues to be inspired by the values ​​of freedom and justice espoused by President Silvio Berlusconi. Such is my bond, I will certainly never exercise my role to fuel internal conflicts, knowing that such behavior would damage the party to the advantage of others. I would like to point out, however, especially to those who might appear a little distracted, that in recent years our party—thanks to the contributions of many, from rank-and-file members to local administrators to members of parliament at all institutional levels—has become the leading party in Sicily, making the region the most blue-leaning in Italy. We are the largest group in the Sicilian Regional Assembly (ARS), and in the recent elections for the renewal of former provincial bodies, despite not agreeing with the voting procedures that prevent voters from directly choosing their representatives, we obtained the highest number of elected councilors overall.” This was stated by Marcello Caruso, regional coordinator of Forza Italia in Sicily.

"The next congress, shared with the National Secretariat to elect regional coordinators, will be a useful opportunity for those who intend to submit proposals and motions," he adds.
