Megabox debuts in the first round of Challenge

Megabox Group Vallefoglia will debut in the round of 32 of the 2025/2026 CEV Challenge Cup against the winner of the match between Serbian team GZOK Srem Sremka Mitrovica and the winner of the Balkan Volleyball Association (BVA) Cup (the competition that awards a spot in the CEV Challenge Cup). This year's BVA Cup features AEK Athens (Greece), Fit Fun Skopje (Macedonia), Jedintsvo Stara Pazova (Serbia), KV Drita Gjilan (Kosovo), and ŽOK Borac Banja Luka (Bosnia).

The draws in Luxembourg have set the first and second leg matches for 25-27 November (away) and 2-4 December (at the PalaMegabox).

"We're very curious and excited," explains president Ivano Angeli . "We all know Europe well, but as a team, we're rookies! That said, we want to make a good impression on our debut, and we'll do everything we can to take Vallefoglia and the entire province of Pesaro as far as possible in this competition. We don't know our opponent yet, but it certainly won't be a long journey. As for everything else, we'll see which team emerges from the preliminary round: we mustn't underestimate anyone and aim to do our best to advance to the next round."
